A fashion photographer whose work has appeared in Rolling Stone magazine was arrested after fire marshals allegedly stumbled on a 10-pound stash of marijuana while investigating a fire in her SoHo apartment building.
Jennifer Tzar, 44, was charged with first-degree criminal possession of marijuana.
She has shot the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Snoop Dogg for Spin and Rolling Stone and her work has also appeared in LIFE magazine.
Fire marshals searched her apartment as they looked for a cause of the three-alarm blaze on Friday.
Police say the drugs were stuffed into 13 plastic bags and one jar inside the apartment.
The stash has a street value of $500 an ounce, sources said, making the seizure worth an estimated $80,000.
Tzar, 44, was arrested at the scene, police said.
The blaze left six families homeless, the New York Daily News reports.
Ten firefighters suffered minor injuries, and one woman who lives in the building was hospitalized, said fire officials.
The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
Tzar’s website lists her photography as ‘Offbeat and arresting…in the realm of magical realism, project defiance and individuality.’
She was unavailable for comment on Monday.
The Buildings Department ruled the 106-year-old building unsafe for residents – and declared a “full vacate” order.

‘There was a lot of smoke in the middle of the night, and then I saw flames inside the courtyard,’ said Natalie Swan, an actress and resident for 30 years.
‘They broke into my apartment, broke the door down. I’m in shock.’
Ken Huebner, 54, a long-time resident, said he had been out there for hours with his son and dog.
‘I’m exhausted. I’ve been up since yesterday,’ he said. ‘I don’t know what I’m going to do, honestly. Let’s hope for the best.’
